Best Civilization for New Players (Early Game)
1. China
China is the best civilization for the early game. The combination of (+5% building speed) and (+5% action point recovery speed) may seem small, but these buffs contribute to significant progression in the long run. Plus, Sun Tzu is one of the best epic commanders in the game.
2. Britain
While Britain ranks second, it is still an excellent civilization to start with. Boudica, a peacekeeping commander, helps new players with her powerful skill set, and the additional (+5% training speed) aids in faster troop development. Some might argue Germany is the better pick, but the early game really comes down to their epic commanders. Britain is only recommended for those who plan to hunt barbarians a lot.
3. Germany
Germany is quite a strong civilization for the early game in Rise of Kingdom. The (+5% troop training speed) allows faster army growth, which is vital for gathering resources and defense. Additionally, the (+10% action point recovery) accelerates barbarian hunting and event participation, helping you level up quickly.

Korea shines in the mid-game, especially for researchong. The (+3% research speed) helps speed up technology upgrades, while their (+15% hospital capacity) is great for keeping your troop from dying due to heavy losses from battles.
4. Britain
Britain’s (+5% troop training speed) remains beneficial in the mid-game, allowing faster troop production. However, the (+20% ally garrison capacity) is generally not very useful at this stage unless you're heavily involved in defending allied cities.
5. Spain
In the mid-game, Spain’s (+10% experience bonus) becomes a valuable buff (althougt should not be the main reason from choosing this civilization). As leveling commanders uses your experience tomes intensively, this bonus helps maximize experience gain from battles agaisnt neutral units and events, which is eamazing for leveling up your commanders.

3. Ottoman Empire
The Ottoman Empire is a pure combat civilization in Rise of Kingdoms. With (+5% skill damage) and (+5% march speed) applying to all troop types, it’s extemely versatile. However, the (+5% archer health) is only for the Archers, and thier special unit the "Jannisaries" makes the civilization more suited for archer mains.

If You Are Using Siege
WARNING: If you’re new, do not pick France as your first civilization. Start with China and switch to France later. Also, focusing on siege units in the early game is not recommended. Siege units are powerful, but they have limited option in the early & mid game and they don’t provide enough field support to justify prioritizing them early on.
1. France
France is your best and arguably only choice. Only france has the buffs that are relevant for siege. Hopefully Rise of Kingdoms will add Siege Civilizations as it was the troop specialized civilization we're lacking of
